ESCI Mobility Grant

Scope of the prize (Info about 2025 Applications soon online)

The European Society for Clinical Investigation (ESCI) sponsors 2 fellowships of € 2.000  each in order to cover expenses of short secondments at the foreign institution. The duration of the secondment will be at the applicant’s discretion.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be under 35 years old at the time of submitting their application.
• Basic or clinical researchers residing in Europe.

Exclusions

Older than 35 years old, costs of the secondment covered from other sources, hosting or welcoming institution outside Europe.

Applicants should submit online

• a one-page short CV
• filled application form (download here)
• a statement of support from the host institution
• invitation letter from the head of the host institution

Time frame application

The call will open December 1 2023 and the winner will be communicated during the ASM (June). The secondment must take place within 12 months from receiving the grant. Deadline of submission: March 1, 2024.

Evaluation

A committee composed by four ESCI Council Members will evaluate the applications.

Prizes

The 2 selected applicants will win a € 2.000 grant to cover expenses of the mobility grant.

Verification

Payment to the winners will be made after the secondment together with a certificate. The winners should send a 1-page max. report summarizing her / his stay in the welcoming institution within one month after the end of the secondment. Payment is made after the report is received and approved by ESCI.
