ESCI Awards & Grants

The European Society for Clinical Investigation patrons the following awards and grants.

Awards

Albert Struyvenberg Medal

The Albert Struyveberg Medal is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of Clinical Investigation, in line with the spirit of the founding fathers of ESCI, established on February 12th 1967.

ESCI BioArt Award

The European Society for Clinical Investigation (ESCI) invites all members and non-members to submit ORIGINAL, unpublished images related to biomedicine (Basic, Translational, Clinical Research) to the ESCI-Bio Art image contest.

ESCI Young Investigator Award

The European Society for Clinical Investigation (ESCI) will award a monetary prize plus invitation (travel / hotel / registration paid), to two outstanding young investigators who have made an exceptional contribution to basic/translational or clinically oriented biomedical science in Europe.

ESCI Research Awards

Every year the Council of ESCI awards all original research articles published on European Journal of Clinical Investigation (ESCI) in the previous year.

Grants

Travel Grants

This initiative was to stimulate young scientists and medical students to obtain chances to investigate their fields of research and since then ESCI Travel Grants was established.

ESCI Exploratory Research Grant

The European Society for Clinical Investigation (ESCI) will award one Exploratory Grant per year to support translational research covering one of the area of interest of the society, which is conducted in one European institution.
