This course aims to introduce systematic reviewing, systematic mapping and metaanalysis as methods for evidence synthesis. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the activities that are necessary to maximise comprehensiveness, transparency, objectivity and reliability throughout the review process, and will be introduced to the use of meta-analysis for quantitatively summarising evidence.
